On Linux Mint you can usually install with Package Manager (Synaptic) or from Software Management, or
with terminal by these commands:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install xiphos
You can then open it from Menu and from Xiphos settings you can choose from where to download modules with Xiphos,
and then install the Bible modules (translations) and Commentary modules their installation happens within Xiphos.
